So these pictures aren't really in the right order, but they're here. Enjoy!
Although the entry talking about Pisa is coming, I will tell you that we rode the train and spent the afternoon there on Friday...and it rained almost the entire time. Wet shoes and squishy socks.
While it would be neat to go up the Leaning Tower of Pisa (for 15 Euro), the thing all visitors MUST DO is take a picture holding the tower up. So here is mine. It is possible that, in the future, we might return to Pisa and climb it, but for now, I am satisfied :)

This is the wine that was recommended to us by the waiter at a neighborhood restaurant near CAPA. The entire WSU group attended an orientation dinner here (Wednesday night) where we were able to try an assortment of aperitivi and primi, as well as dessert. It was a very fun and delicious dinner.

Il Duomo (shown below, and mentioned above) is in Florence's historic center and Jenny, Amanda, and I pass it every day on our way to school. It's really quite huge and very beautiful to see in person. This picture was taken on the morning that we got our very first glimpse of blue sky in Florence.
